Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modular microservice components for scalable business applications.
• Build clean and efficient Python services for data processing and backend logic.
• Develop Java-based service layers and integrate them with existing platforms.
• Build JavaScript frontend features and integrate them with backend microservices.
• Write optimized SQL queries and database procedures while maintaining data integrity.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to translate requirements into implementation tasks.
• Participate in code reviews and improve engineering practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, service contracts, data flows, and operational runbooks.
• Write unit, integration, and regression tests and contribute to automated testing pipelines.
• Troubleshoot defects and perform root cause analysis.
• Monitor application health using logs, metrics, and dashboards.
• Follow secure development practices covering authentication, authorization, encryption, and data handling.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose incremental enhancements.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python development.
• Hands-on experience with Java backend services.
• Practical JavaScript experience for frontend development and API integration.
• Solid understanding of SQL, including query optimization, joins, indexing, and relational data modeling.
• Understanding of microservices fundamentals including service boundaries, stateless design, interservice communication, and resilience patterns.
