The role focuses on transforming raw data into structured, business-ready datasets and developing scalable data models and pipelines that support analytics and data-informed decision-making. The engineer will work with senior team members, business stakeholders, and AI/ML teams to build reliable, documented, and tested data products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data products.
• Develop and maintain a centralized data layer for scalable data products.
• Transform raw and semi-structured data into contextualized data models using ELT frameworks.
• Use dbt to develop documented, tested, and DRY data transformation code.
• Support AWS-based architectural solutions for data engineering workflows.
• Partner with AI and ML teams to develop data foundations for AI-enabled internal tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, Pharmaceutical Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in analytical engineering, data modeling, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL, Spark, and Python.
• Knowledge of data engineering tools such as AWS and Airflow.
• Experience or exposure to dbt is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
