About the role
Microsoft is hiring Technology Consulting Interns in Hyderabad. The role involves supporting technology consulting projects, understanding customer and business requirements, contributing to technical solution offerings, identifying project risks and dependencies, and working with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. Interns will also gain exposure to cloud and Microsoft technologies and help identify opportunities to increase technology adoption. This is a fully on-site internship for students currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field. Responsibilities
- Contribute to the pre-sales process by providing technical input based on business requirements.
- Understand customer and partner requirements and technical constraints.
- Contribute to technical solution offerings under guidance.
- Participate in project planning by identifying risks and dependencies.
- Propose appropriate mitigations for identified project risks.
- Develop knowledge of Microsoft intellectual property and leverage it for assigned project tasks.
- Identify issues and risks and coordinate with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to resolve them.
- Identify opportunities to expand adoption and consumption of Microsoft cloud and technology solutions.
- Build relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to understanding customer satisfaction and identifying root causes of dissatisfaction.
- Coordinate technical solutions with customer business goals.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Must have at least one semester or term remaining following completion of the internship.
