Responsibilities
- Understand and apply SDLC and STLC processes
- Create test cases, test scenarios and test data
- Perform different types and levels of software testing
- Perform functional testing
- Conduct positive, negative and edge-case testing
- Identify and report software bugs
- Track bugs based on severity and priority
- Perform API testing using Postman
- Work with HTTP methods, status codes and JSON
- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Contribute to software quality assurance activities
Requirements
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Knowledge of different testing types and testing levels
- Understanding of test cases, test scenarios and test data
- Knowledge of bug life cycle, severity and priority
- Understanding of positive, negative and edge-case testing
- Basic knowledge of APIs and HTTP methods
- Basic understanding of HTTP status codes and JSON
- Basic knowledge of Postman
- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
- Strong software testing fundamentals
