Snabbit is hiring Software Quality Assurance Engineers in Bangalore. The role focuses on software quality assurance, mobile application testing, API and backend testing, and functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. Responsibilities
- Perform software quality assurance and software testing activities.
- Conduct hands-on testing of mobile applications.
- Perform API and backend testing.
- Validate REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, request/response data, and JSON.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Use tools such as Postman, Swagger, Jira, or equivalent testing tools.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to resolve issues.
- Contribute to improving software quality and testing processes.
- Perform automation, database, and performance testing where required.
Requirements
- Experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in mobile application testing.
- Hands-on experience in API testing and backend testing.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, request/response validation, and JSON.
- Experience with Postman, Swagger, Jira, or equivalent tools.
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Good understanding of software development and QA methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of automation testing using Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or Cypress is a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL/database testing and performance/load testing is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, and log analysis is a plus.
