About the role
Godel Earth is hiring Software Engineering Interns for a remote internship. Interns will work on backend services, APIs, relational data modeling, workflows, frontend dashboards, third-party integrations, background jobs, and data pipelines. Candidates should be able to commit 30-40 hours per week and have at least one serious shipped project in software, machine learning, or data.
Responsibilities
- Build backend services and well-designed REST APIs
- Design relational data models for real-world entities
- Develop workflows, state machines, and role-based systems
- Build frontend dashboards using React and TypeScript
- Integrate third-party APIs, webhooks, payments, email, and storage
- Work on background jobs, queues, schedulers, retries, and logging
Requirements
- Ability to commit 30-40 hours per week consistently
- Strong foundations in Python and TypeScript
- Comfortable working with Git, Linux, and the command line
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Ability to independently build a REST API and frontend application
- At least one serious shipped project in software, ML, or data
