Responsibilities
- Apply engineering principles to solve complex problems
- Work with stakeholders to determine user requirements for features
- Learn and incorporate new engineering methods into work processes
- Seek feedback and apply industry and internal best practices
- Improve technical solutions based on feedback
- Manage time effectively and complete software projects in a team environment
- Review current engineering developments and proactively learn new technologies
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability and performance
- Drive consistency in monitoring and operations at scale
- Design, develop and test next-generation software
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Must have at least one semester or term remaining after completion of the internship
- At least one year of programming experience in an object-oriented programming language
- Understanding of computer science fundamentals is preferred
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms is preferred
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to work effectively in a cooperative team environment
