About the role
Qualcomm India Private Limited is hiring Software Engineering Interns for its 2027 internship program. The role is available across Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, and Noida and is focused on developing software for Qualcomm's advanced mobile and embedded platforms. Responsibilities
- Develop real-time embedded software and device drivers.
- Contribute to mobile software development for Android, Linux, or Windows-based platforms.
- Work on multimedia technologies including audio, video, and image processing.
- Contribute to wireless modem and connectivity software and firmware.
- Develop platform-level software including Linux, Android, Windows, and Board Support Packages.
- Work on Linux drivers and Linux kernel development.
- Develop communication protocol stack software.
- Contribute to IoT technologies for connected cameras, smart assistants, drones, VR, and AR devices.
- Develop application software and user interfaces.
- Contribute to embedded software architecture and object-oriented software development.
- Debug software and solve complex engineering problems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on software development projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering, Communication Engineering, ECE, or a related field.
- Strong programming knowledge in C and/or C++.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and design.
- Good understanding of operating system concepts.
- Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of embedded software and real-time systems is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in collaborative engineering teams.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
