Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software using Python, Golang, or similar programming languages
- Implement new features and enhance Red Hat products such as RHEL and OpenShift
- Debug, investigate, and resolve software issues
- Collaborate with Software Engineering, Quality Engineering, Product Management, Design, and Documentation teams
- Participate in Agile development practices and code reviews
- Work closely with an experienced engineering mentor throughout the internship
- Contribute to enterprise open-source software projects
- Learn and apply modern cloud-native technologies including Kubernetes, Ansible, and AI
Requirements
- 2026 or 2027 batch
- Currently pursuing the final year of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Basic knowledge of Software Engineering principles
- Knowledge of Python, Golang, or similar programming languages
- Good understanding of Git and software development workflows
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Passion for open-source software and continuous learning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in collaborative engineering teams
- Must be authorized to work without current or future visa sponsorship
