About the role
Monotype Global is hiring Software Engineer Trainees to develop customer-facing software products and automation solutions. Candidates will work in Agile teams, contribute to product development, and gain hands-on experience with modern software engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop customer-facing software in Agile teams
- Build automation tests for new features
- Develop product features and enhancements
- Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams
- Write efficient, platform-independent code
Requirements
- 2025, 2026, or 2027 batch pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree
- Strong knowledge of C and algorithms
- Knowledge of Python and AI coding tools such as Cursor, ChatGPT, or Claude is a plus
- Understanding of memory optimization and complexity analysis
- Experience with Visual Studio or Makefiles
- Familiarity with GitHub and feature branch workflow
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
