Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain highly reliable, scalable, and maintainable enterprise applications capable of supporting Apple-scale workloads.
• Understand business and technical requirements and work with team members, multifunctional teams, and project managers to define appropriate solutions.
• Estimate the scope and effort required for software development projects.
• Design and implement sophisticated backend architectures and distributed systems.
• Develop microservices and enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and integrate APIs including REST, RPC, GraphQL, and similar technologies.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to build scalable data-access solutions.
• Collaborate with business leaders and technical partners to implement new solutions.
• Work effectively with cross-functional and distributed engineering teams.
• Review technical designs and provide feedback on architecture and implementation.
• Perform code reviews and maintain high engineering-quality standards.
• Collaborate with, mentor, and influence engineers within and outside the immediate team.
• Deliver reliable solutions within required project timelines.
• Develop solutions that can adapt to rapidly evolving product and business requirements.
• Build secure, reliable, and maintainable distributed applications.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience designing and developing scalable enterprise-grade solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with software architecture, design, and development.
• Experience implementing cloud-based distributed systems.
• Experience with API implementation such as REST, RPC, GraphQL, or similar technologies.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Understanding of software design patterns such as GoF patterns.
• Ability to write testable, maintainable, and extensible backend code.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to engineering excellence.
