About the role
FanCode is hiring Software Engineer Interns to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and services. Interns will work on REST APIs, backend services, product features, databases, and third-party integrations while collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and services.
- Build and integrate REST APIs, backend services, and product features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Debug issues and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Work with databases and third-party integrations.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver features.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical discussions.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of DSA, OOP, DBMS, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or Go.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, databases, and web development.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with software projects, internships, or open-source contributions is a plus.
