About the role
Friday Media Group is hiring Software Engineer Interns for its Bengaluru office. This opportunity is open to 2025, 2026, and 2027 graduates. Candidates should have a good understanding of PHP, the Symfony framework, Git, Bitbucket, REST APIs, AJAX, HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Knowledge of Composer, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and unit testing is an added advantage. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Symfony
- Implement and manage third-party API integrations
- Collaborate with frontend developers and designers
- Build responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery
- Work with Git and Bitbucket for version control
- Debug and troubleshoot full-stack issues
- Follow coding best practices and participate in code reviews
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Requirements
- Open to 2025/2026/2027 graduates
- Good understanding of PHP and Symfony
- Knowledge of Git and Bitbucket
- Experience with REST APIs and API integrations
- Knowledge of AJAX, HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, and jQuery
