Responsibilities

• Develop software using C and C++.
• Work with operating system principles and environments including Linux, VxWorks and QNX.
• Develop software in multi-threaded and multi-process environments.
• Design and implement tools to accelerate software system development and debugging.
• Participate in fixing issues arising from customer sites.
• Analyze system scalability and interworking issues.
• Perform root cause analysis of system issues.
• Design and implement built-in diagnostics and test code.
• Develop and work with distributed architecture systems with intercommunication.
• Work with communication interfaces including Serial, Ethernet, 1553, CAN, NMEA and Modbus.
• Work with IP protocols, VLANs and Ethernet switching.
• Support software development for large and complex systems.
• Perform software integration, debugging and testing activities.

Requirements

• B.Tech/B.E degree.
• Excellent command over C and C++ programming languages.
• Strong understanding of operating system principles.
• Knowledge of Linux, VxWorks and QNX.
• Experience or understanding of multi-threaded and multi-process programming.
• Proficiency with Linux, Jira and inter-process communication.
• Knowledge of distributed architecture systems and intercommunication.
• Knowledge of communication interfaces such as Serial, Ethernet, 1553, CAN, NMEA and Modbus.
• Knowledge of IP protocols, VLANs and Ethernet switching.
• Hands-on software development experience in large and complex software systems.
• Excellent analytical, integration and debugging skills.
• Very good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
