Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service in the processing of incoming and outgoing client data.
- Design and develop custom data solutions in Databricks.
- Develop efficient, reusable, and reliable code for data processing and transformation.
- Work with Technical Leads, Architects, and data platform teams to implement robust data solutions.
- Contribute to data modelling, quality, and governance initiatives.
- Perform detailed analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for production issues.
- Optimize system reliability and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce coding and design best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Improve and optimize deployment processes.
- Interact with technical leads and architects to identify solutions for data engineering challenges.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development and delivery processes.
Requirements
- BE / B.Tech / MCA degree.
- 3-5 years of experience working in a Linux or Unix environment.
- 1-3 years of experience in Shell Scripting and SQL.
- Strong experience with Python/PySpark.
- Knowledge or experience with Databricks is preferred.
- Experience working with AWS is preferred.
- Experience with JIRA for user-story and bug tracking.
- Experience with Git/Bitbucket.
- GenAI experience in data processing is a plus.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
