Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and maintain features for a global cloud service with guidance.
- Contribute to backend services and REST APIs using modern engineering practices.
- Write high-quality, maintainable code and accompanying unit tests.
- Assist with monitoring service health and investigating issues in live environments.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team planning activities.
- Learn and apply security, privacy, and compliance best practices in production services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline with proven coding experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and basic web or service concepts.
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows and modern development tools.
- Foundational knowledge of software quality and unit testing.
