Responsibilities

• Build polished, high-quality UI components using React.
• Develop scalable front-end applications using modern React and TypeScript.
• Work with GraphQL schemas, fragments, and resolvers.
• Build reusable components and contribute to shared design systems.
• Develop configuration-driven solutions for multi-brand applications.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals including LCP, CLS, and INP.
• Ensure accessibility, semantic HTML, responsive behavior, and robust interactions.
• Participate in design reviews, architectural discussions, and code reviews.
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools for development, testing, documentation, and prototyping.
• Critically evaluate and validate AI-generated code through testing and engineering practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Editorial, Data, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience developing front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of GraphQL including schemas, fragments, and component-oriented queries.
• Knowledge of modern React including hooks, suspense, SSR/hydration, and RSC concepts.
• Strong CSS fundamentals including responsive layouts, animation, and typography.
• Strong understanding of accessibility, usability, and inclusive design.
• Experience optimizing Core Web Vitals and front-end performance.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
• Ability to prompt, critique, test, and refine AI-generated outputs.
• Awareness of responsible AI considerations including privacy, security, intellectual property, accessibility, bias, and editorial trust.
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and learning skills.
