About the role
Newton School of Technology is hiring Software Development Engineers (SDE) + Associate Instructors for Full Stack Development in Pune. The role combines software engineering with teaching and mentoring responsibilities, helping students build strong foundations in full stack development, OOP, DSA, and software engineering while working on hands-on coding labs and industry-relevant projects. Responsibilities
- Teach and support Full Stack Development, OOPs, DSA, and Software Engineering.
- Conduct hands-on coding labs in JavaScript, Node.js, Python, SQL, and other technologies.
- Mentor students on projects, debugging, and software engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with faculty and industry teams to build industry-relevant curriculum.
- Help students become job-ready software engineers.
- Support students in solving technical problems and improving their engineering skills.
- Contribute to teaching and mentoring initiatives alongside software development responsibilities.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of Software Development experience.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Java, Python, or C++.
- Solid understanding of OOPs, DSA, LLD, and software design.
- Familiarity with APIs, frameworks, and deployment.
- Strong communication and mentoring skills.
- Teaching or mentoring experience is a good to have.
- Knowledge of Git and HLD is a good to have.
- Understanding of application lifecycle is a good to have.
