About the role
Google is hiring Application Engineers for General Software Development in Hyderabad. The role involves designing, building, testing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining internal and customer-facing applications. Responsibilities
- Build and scale high-performance data pipelines and system integrations connecting Salesforce with Google's broader software ecosystem.
- Implement AI-driven integrations with Salesforce with a focus on security, reliability, and privacy compliance.
- Design and develop secure data exchange solutions between Google's internal and third-party platforms and Salesforce.
- Build agentic integrations on Google Enterprise for Government to support complex business use cases.
- Collaborate with Security Engineering, Privacy, and business system owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop, test, document, implement, and maintain web and enterprise applications.
- Manage assigned tasks and priorities while contributing to project goals and milestones.
- Identify and escalate technical challenges during development and testing.
- Contribute to finding and implementing solutions for complex system integration challenges.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable enterprise solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience designing and integrating internal and third-party applications.
- Programming experience in Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience driving engineering and architecture strategies.
- Experience with cloud platforms.
- Experience designing and building data integrations across enterprise systems is preferred.
- Experience with AI/ML and agentic technologies or stacks is preferred.
- Ability to deliver high-quality, well-tested code and systems.
- Excellent customer empathy and attention to detail.
- Strong investigative, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
