About the role
LimeChat is hiring a Software Development Engineer (SDE-1) to build backend integrations and GenAI solutions for enterprise customers. The role involves developing REST/webhook integrations, event pipelines, RAG workflows, and scalable deployments using Python or Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/GCP. Responsibilities
- Own enterprise client go-lives from scoping through deployment.
- Build REST and webhook integrations, event pipelines, and data syncs.
- Develop RAG pipelines, prompt chains, and GenAI workflows.
- Design scalable deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/GCP.
- Monitor latency, token usage, errors, and application reliability.
- Create reusable SDKs, playbooks, and Infrastructure as Code modules.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Core Engineering teams.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience building backend or integration solutions for SaaS or platform products.
- Proficiency in Python or Node.js with FastAPI, Django, or Express.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design.
- Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB/Redis.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes/ECS.
- Experience with AWS or GCP.
- Experience with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills.
