Software Development Engineer Intern

About the role

RoadVision AI is hiring a Software Development Engineer Intern to build and scale real-world AI, Computer Vision, GIS, and data-driven applications. The role focuses on building backend APIs using Python, Flask or FastAPI, developing responsive React.js dashboards for data visualization, integrating video analytics and computer vision pipelines with backend systems, and working with GIS datasets, geoprocessing, and map-based workflows. The intern will also deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on AWS/GCP, use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Lovable, and GitHub Copilot, and participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and feature planning. Candidates should have strong programming fundamentals, a good understanding of Python, JavaScript, APIs, and databases, hands-on experience through projects, internships, or coursework, strong problem-solving skills, and an interest in AI, Computer Vision, GIS, and cloud technologies.
