Responsibilities
- Contribute to the strategy and design of controls systems covering hardware, software, telecommunications, infrastructure, and information.
- Design and deliver components of new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
- Consider non-functional requirements while developing or enhancing systems to meet business objectives.
- Ensure interoperability of system components with other systems where required.
- Describe and communicate technical requirements to internal teams and third-party IT product or service providers.
- Contribute to and execute non-functional system testing strategies.
- Review and analyze system test results.
- Follow established design principles, practices, guidelines, standards, and procedures.
- Document technical work using required standards, methods, and tools.
- Participate in client and user meetings and communicate technical issues and solutions.
- Contribute to the successful technical delivery of systems while balancing functionality, cost, schedule, and risk.
- Participate in technical reviews with delivery teams.
- Assess technical risks and prepare possible risk mitigation alternatives.
- Manage technical relationships with internal and external parties involved in IT delivery.
- Contribute to program and project planning and provide project status updates.
Requirements
- Relevant knowledge and experience in software development or a related technical discipline.
- Ability to work on complex technical or professional activities under general supervision.
- Understanding of software/system design principles and development practices.
- Ability to contribute to software/system testing and review test results.
- Ability to understand and document technical requirements.
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams, clients/users, and external technology providers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently within an established technical framework.
