About the role
Snabbit is hiring Software Backend Engineers to build and maintain scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs. The role involves working with backend technologies, databases, system design, cloud platforms, microservices, distributed systems, and modern software development practices. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Develop scalable software solutions using backend technologies such as Java, Python, Go, Node.js, or similar.
- Design and work with databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Apply data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and software engineering principles.
- Contribute to system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Take ownership of backend systems and deliver features end-to-end.
- Work with cloud platforms, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Contribute to CI/CD, containerization, monitoring, and production engineering practices.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in backend technologies such as Java, Python, Go, Node.js, or similar.
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and software engineering principles.
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Strong understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
- Good understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong ownership mindset and willingness to take responsibility for end-to-end delivery.
