Responsibilities

• Build production systems that are correct for current and evolving requirements.
• Own meaningful systems end-to-end.
• Make strong technical decisions around system design and data models.
• Maintain quality across the engineering team.
• Review code and help improve engineering quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and help prevent fragile code from reaching production.
• Direct coding agents effectively and catch incorrect output.

Requirements

• 3+ years of production software engineering experience.
• Experience working at a fast-paced startup or AI company.
• Track record of owning meaningful systems end-to-end.
• Strong intuition for building versus shipping.
• Comfortable reviewing and mentoring, not just writing code.
