Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.
• Build creative technology solutions for Amazon Bazaar.
• Develop and enhance experiences for the Amazon Mobile Shopping App.
• Build and improve retail website features.
• Work with senior engineers on product design and architecture.
• Contribute to defining key product features that impact the business.
• Maintain a high standard of software quality.
• Participate in coding, code reviews, source control, testing, and operations.
• Work in a fast-paced, exploratory, and research-oriented environment.
• Build solutions that improve customer experience and business metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field completed within the last 12 months.
• 1+ years of professional software development experience, or a qualifying recent Bachelor's degree.
• Understanding of software development fundamentals.
• Ability to work through the full software development lifecycle.
• Understanding of coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
