About the role
Atlan is hiring AI-Native Builder Interns for a 6-month full-time remote internship in India. Interns will work directly on production systems and contribute to the context layer that enables enterprise AI to understand business data, meaning, lineage, ownership, trust signals, and policies. The role provides exposure to real production code, customer problems, AI agents, enterprise data, developer tooling, integrations, reliability, and evaluation systems.
Responsibilities
- Build production software that contributes to Atlan's enterprise AI context layer.
- Work on systems that model and expose business meaning, data lineage, ownership, and trust signals.
- Develop integrations with the technology stacks and platforms used by real enterprise customers.
- Work on reliability and evaluation systems for AI agents operating on enterprise data.
- Build developer tooling and internal platforms that improve engineering productivity.
- Explore and solve new technical problems as the AI ecosystem evolves.
- Work with the same code, context, and customer-facing problems as full-time engineers.
- Contribute to production systems from the beginning of the internship.
- Collaborate with engineers and teammates to design, build, test, debug, and ship solutions.
- Take ownership of ambiguous technical problems and help define solutions when specifications are incomplete.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a B.Tech degree.
- Eligible batches: 2026 or 2027.
- Strong interest in software engineering and building real products.
- Demonstrated ability to build projects independently.
- Curiosity about artificial intelligence and modern AI development workflows.
- Ability to work effectively with AI-assisted development tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently on ambiguous problems.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn quickly and iterate based on feedback.
