About the role
Medyzen is hiring an SDE-2 with 3+ years of backend engineering experience. The role is focused on building and owning backend systems end-to-end, from high-level design and low-level design through production. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems.
- Take problems from HLD to LLD and through to production.
- Own backend services end-to-end, from design through deployment and maintenance.
- Build reliable and scalable production systems.
- Work independently in a small engineering team with high ownership.
- Diagnose and resolve backend issues and improve system reliability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of backend engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Go.
- Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL.
- Comfortable taking a problem from HLD to LLD to production.
- Experience owning a service end-to-end rather than only handling individual tickets.
- Strong backend system design and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a small, fast-moving team.
