About the role
Groww is hiring SDE 2 engineers to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance systems and services for large-scale financial products. The role involves owning complex engineering projects, building distributed backend systems, driving technical design decisions, and mentoring junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance systems and services.
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex engineering projects and features.
- Build reliable APIs, distributed services, and backend systems for large-scale financial products.
- Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
- Drive technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java, C++, Python, Go, or similar programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of DSA, OOP, DBMS, operating systems, and system design.
- Hands-on experience building scalable backend systems, REST APIs, and distributed services.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, caching, messaging systems, and cloud technologies is a plus.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to take ownership of projects and make sound technical decisions.
