About the role
ERIC Robotics is hiring ROS Interns in Pune to work on robotic systems, sensor integration, navigation, localization, and motion control. The role involves working with ROS 2, C++/Python, robotic sensors, debugging tools, simulation environments, and real-world robotics systems. Responsibilities
- Work with ROS 2 and its communication paradigms.
- Develop and debug robotics software using C++ and/or Python.
- Work with robotic sensors such as LiDAR, cameras, IMU, and encoders.
- Apply navigation, localization, and control concepts such as Nav2 and SLAM.
- Debug and analyze robotic systems using RViz, rqt, ROS 2 CLI tools, and logs.
- Collaborate with the robotics engineering team.
- Work on motion control and sensor integration.
- Participate in robotics development and problem-solving activities.
- Use simulation tools such as Gazebo or Ignition when required.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of ROS 2 and its communication paradigms.
- Proficiency in C++ and/or Python.
- Familiarity with robotic sensors such as LiDAR, cameras, IMU, and encoders.
- Basic understanding of navigation, localization, and control concepts such as Nav2 and SLAM.
