- Work with the FoSSE team and Microsoft colleagues on applied research problems
- Work at the intersection of programming languages, software engineering and AI
- Experiment with research ideas and approaches
- Build tools for real-world and large codebases
- Work on problems involving code migration
- Work on code translation and static analysis problems
- Collaborate closely with Microsoft researchers
- Contribute to practical research projects
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Strong interest in applied research
- Interest in programming languages, software engineering or AI
- Ability to work on practical technical problems
