ML Intern

About the role

Phantm is hiring ML Interns to build and optimize machine learning systems for LLM applications. Interns will design, implement, and evaluate models that reduce token usage while maintaining output quality, experiment with LLM configurations, build data pipelines, analyze performance metrics, and contribute to production-ready AI products.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate machine learning models
• Experiment with LLM configurations and prompt optimization
• Build and maintain ML data pipelines
• Analyze model performance and optimize efficiency
• Research recent ML and LLM advancements for product improvements

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Strong foundation in machine learning and statistics
• Experience with Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn
• Understanding of LLMs, NLP, and prompt engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
