Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive manual test plans and test cases
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers throughout the development lifecycle
- Validate bug fixes and prevent regression issues before production releases
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
- Continuously improve QA processes, testing strategies, and documentation
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility across the product
- Provide detailed and actionable bug reports to engineering teams
Requirements
- 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025 batch
- Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira and TestRail
- Experience performing functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
- Knowledge of web technologies, REST APIs, and software usability testing
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman is preferred
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to identify edge cases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality software
