Responsibilities
- Build ML solutions for planning, sequencing, routing, allocation, and resource utilization problems.
- Prototype and iterate rapidly using agentic coding tools while maintaining code quality.
- Develop optimization and solver-based solutions using MILP, CP-SAT, heuristics, metaheuristics, constraint programming, and search methods.
- Develop and evaluate Deep RL and Decision Intelligence approaches.
- Build predictive ML models for forecasting and estimation that support decision systems.
- Design evaluation harnesses using offline simulation, counterfactual testing, ablations, and scenario analysis.
- Define KPIs and acceptance thresholds for ML solutions.
- Collaborate with ML engineers to productionize models while considering latency and throughput constraints.
- Support monitoring, reproducibility, model versioning, and safe model rollouts.
- Write clear technical documentation and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 0-5 years of experience in applied ML, data science, or applied research.
- Internships, thesis work, and strong project portfolios are considered relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience using agentic coding assistants in real development workflows.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Comfort with ML tooling, preferably PyTorch or alternatively TensorFlow.
- Strong foundations in algorithms, probability, statistics, and experimental design.
- Ability to translate messy real-world problems into clear formulations and measurable success metrics.
