About the role
The Gen Academy is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer for a remote, full-time role in India with a compensation range of ₹20-35 LPA. The role involves building the software and infrastructure that powers The Gen Academy, from internal tooling and course infrastructure to AI-powered systems supporting students. The engineer will own features end to end, build production-ready applications, integrate AI technologies, and work in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain platform infrastructure, internal tooling, and course infrastructure.
- Develop AI teaching assistants and support agents for student support.
- Build demos and applications using modern web and AI technologies.
- Deploy hands-on applications on platforms such as Hugging Face Spaces.
- Develop dashboards and analytics systems for cohort and operational visibility.
- Integrate AI APIs, vector databases, and agent frameworks.
- Own features end to end from specification through development, deployment, and iteration.
- Build reliable and scalable software used by students and internal teams.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of full-stack software development experience.
- Strong experience with a modern web stack such as React.
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js or Python.
- Hands-on experience developing, integrating, and deploying end-to-end agentic systems.
- Ability to ship quickly and work pragmatically without heavy processes.
- Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions.
- Strong ownership and problem-solving skills.
- Must submit the required video introduction.
