Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java and Spring Boot microservices.
• Build responsive and dynamic front-end interfaces using Angular, React, and HTML.
• Develop, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications and services on Google Cloud Platform.
• Author and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
• Manage source code, branching, pull requests, and version control workflows using GitHub.
• Perform application security checks and remediate vulnerabilities throughout the SDLC.
• Use Fossa for open-source license compliance and dependency vulnerability scanning.
• Use Checkmarx for static application security testing and vulnerability remediation.
• Use 42Crunch for API security testing and secure API design.
• Publish, manage, and govern APIs using Apigee.
• Run static code analysis using SonarQube.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, DevOps, and security teams.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across the stack.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with automated security and quality gates.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in planning, stand-ups, and continuous improvement.
• Explore Python and AI/ML capabilities for application features and automation.
• Support knowledge transfer and documentation during the backfill transition.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java and Spring Boot microservices.
• Solid front-end development experience with Angular, React, and HTML.
• Familiarity with SQL, query optimization, database design, and relational databases.
• Practical hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Proficiency with GitHub and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with application security practices, vulnerability scanning, and remediation.
• Familiarity with Fossa, Checkmarx, 42Crunch, SonarQube, and Apigee.
• Experience building, securing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of CI/CD and automated testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
