About the role
Bright Money is hiring a DevOps Intern for its Platform team in Bangalore. This entry-level DevOps/SRE role focuses on supporting daily cloud operations, monitoring systems, maintaining infrastructure documentation, automated deployments, and cloud cost optimization. The role provides hands-on exposure to AWS infrastructure, automation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and reliability practices. The internship duration is 6 months and includes shift-based OnCall duties.
Responsibilities
- Support daily SRE and DevOps operational tasks.
- Assist with AWS cost analysis, tagging, compliance, usage reports, and optimization.
- Help maintain monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and runbooks.
- Contribute to automation work using scripting.
- Perform troubleshooting, log checks, and metrics reporting.
- Maintain infrastructure, SOP, and internal process documentation.
- Participate in shift-based OnCall duties to support infrastructure reliability.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a B.Tech/B.E. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Linux and shell commands.
- Basic coding knowledge in Bash or Python.
- Familiarity with cloud concepts, preferably AWS.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn quickly.
- Interest in DevOps/SRE practices including automation, CI/CD, cloud, and monitoring.
- Ability to participate in OnCall duties.
