About the role
Wipro is hiring a DevOps Engineer L2 to work with application teams and developers to improve coordination between operations, development, and testing functions by automating and streamlining integration and deployment processes. The role focuses on CI/CD, DevOps pipeline management, infrastructure, automation, customer support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Responsibilities
- Align and focus on continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Plan and execute DevOps pipelines supporting the application lifecycle.
- Manage the DevOps toolchain across planning, coding, building, testing, staging, release, configuration, and monitoring.
- Manage IT infrastructure according to application requirements.
- Onboard applications onto DevOps tools and configure them according to client requirements.
- Create user access workflows and provide access according to defined processes.
- Build and customize DevOps tools based on client requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams on coding and scripting required for software releases.
- Automate testing and deployment processes in a DevOps environment.
- Provide customer support for DevOps tools.
- Resolve tickets within specified turnaround times.
- Follow escalation processes for complex or unresolved issues.
- Troubleshoot critical and recurring issues.
- Perform root cause analysis.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience.
- Mandatory skill: Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Knowledge of deployment and testing automation.
- Ability to work with IT infrastructure and production environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to collaborate with development and operations teams.
- Good customer support and communication skills.
