Data Analyst Intern (+PPO)

About the role

Portcast is hiring Data Analyst Interns with a PPO opportunity. The role is fully remote and suited for final-year students or recent graduates interested in data analytics, data science, and data-heavy business domains.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and product data
• Investigate unexpected data and identify underlying causes
• Work with Python and SQL for data analysis
• Validate AI-assisted analytical outputs
• Generate insights from data to support business decisions

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a final-year degree or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field
• Working knowledge of Python and SQL
• Prior internship experience in a Data Analyst or Business Analyst role, preferably in a product-based lean startup
• Experience in logistics, ecommerce, or B2B SaaS data-heavy domains is preferred
• Curiosity and willingness to learn
• Ability to investigate unexpected data and understand underlying reasons
• Ability to own and validate AI-assisted output
• Strong attention to detail
• Empathy and urgency
• Fluent written and verbal English
• Comfortable working in a diverse, fully remote team
