Responsibilities

• Design and develop risk-based underwriting and decision strategies using financial, bureau and transactional data
• Perform simulations and A/B experiments to evaluate strategy impact
• Analyze experiment outcomes to measure uplift, segment-level behavior and risk trade-offs
• Collaborate with risk analysts, product managers and engineers to deploy and iterate on strategies
• Monitor post-deployment performance and identify opportunities for optimization or corrective action
• Document assumptions, methodologies and results for audit and review

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in data science, analytics or risk-focused roles
• Strong proficiency in Python, Pandas and NumPy
• Strong data analysis workflow knowledge
• Solid working knowledge of SQL for data extraction, validation and analysis
• Experience working with structured financial or transactional datasets
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to reason about edge cases and data anomalies
