Accenture is hiring a Custom Software Engineer to develop and support custom software solutions while providing technical support for customers using emerging technologies. Responsibilities

• Develop custom software solutions and enhance components across systems and applications.
• Provide technical support to customers using new and emerging technologies.
• Act as an escalation point for highly complex and sensitive client issues.
• Drive incident resolution and maintain clear communication with customers.
• Support the restoration of production services.
• Troubleshoot technical solutions by analyzing chains of events and applying technical knowledge.
• Support data-driven applications connected to relational databases, XML sources, and high-volume web services.
• Create, edit, and maintain knowledge entries and best-practice documentation.
• Maintain support shared systems including virtual environments, databases, and shared instances.
• Work with emerging products and technologies to implement support processes.
• Participate in other projects and assigned duties.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience.
• 15 years of full-time education.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Technology, or a related field.
• Must-have skill: API Management.
• Good to have: Java programming.
• Experience troubleshooting, maintaining, or developing data-driven applications.
• Knowledge of relational databases, XML sources, and high-volume web services.
• Knowledge of REST, JSON, and XML transmission types.
• Knowledge of Linux and web programming.
• Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle customer escalations and stressful situations.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
