About the role
Uplabh is hiring Backend Interns to build scalable backend services for modern web applications. Responsibilities
- Develop backend services using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework
- Design, build, and maintain scalable REST APIs
- Implement backend business logic and database operations
- Write unit tests and maintain technical documentation
- Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams
- Follow software engineering best practices and coding standards
- Debug, optimize, and improve backend application performance
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Requirements
- 2025, 2026, or 2027 batch
- Strong programming fundamentals in Python
- Hands-on experience with Django and Django REST Framework
- Knowledge of Django Channels and asynchronous programming is preferred
- Good understanding of REST API design principles
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Experience using Git for version control
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- AWS EC2 and RDS knowledge is a plus
