About the role
Uplabh is hiring Android Interns to build customer-facing Android applications. You'll work closely with the product and engineering teams to develop new features, implement complex UI components, and contribute to production-ready Android applications while following modern software engineering best practices. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new Android application features
- Build complex and responsive user interface components
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Consume REST APIs and integrate backend services
- Implement Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) features
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Document application features and development work
Requirements
- 2025/2026/2027 batch
- Strong understanding of Android fundamentals including Activities, Fragments, and ViewModels
- Good programming skills in Java
- Knowledge of Kotlin is a plus
- Experience consuming REST APIs
- Knowledge of Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
- Experience with Git and pull request workflows
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving ability
