Responsibilities
- Support application operations, monitoring, and incident management activities in a 24x7 support environment.
- Monitor application performance using Dynatrace.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
- Work with Java-based applications and microservices under the guidance of senior team members.
- Perform testing, debugging, and validation to ensure application stability and performance.
- Provide application support including issue analysis, defect resolution, and routine maintenance.
- Analyze application logs and identify root causes of issues.
- Escalate complex technical issues when required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Follow ITIL best practices for application and service management.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and application support best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in software development, application support, production support, or operations.
- Basic understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management concepts.
- Working knowledge of Java and J2EE technologies.
- Understanding of Servlets, JSP, JDBC, JMS, JPA, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Understanding of web services and APIs including REST and SOAP.
- Knowledge of JSON and XML.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Familiarity with Dynatrace and ServiceNow.
- Good troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work in 24x7 rotational shifts as required.
