Responsibilities
- Reconcile financial transactions and identify discrepancies.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of bank, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.
- Investigate discrepancies and variances and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain reconciliation reports and documentation in compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve outstanding reconciliation issues.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and suggest automation solutions.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Understand client policies and procedures and apply them to engagement delivery.
- Monitor actual performance against plans and support business objectives.
- Report issues, risks, and concerns to KGS leadership and clients when appropriate.
- Participate in operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate improvement opportunities and apply industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 1-5 years of experience in financial reconciliation, accounting, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of reconciliation tools, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
- Strong spoken and written business English.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Awareness of regulatory and compliance guidelines.
- Ability to work effectively in a shared services or outsourcing environment.
