About the role
The Gen Academy is hiring AI Engineering Interns for a 6-month remote internship in India. The team is hiring three interns who will work alongside experienced AI practitioners on real-world agentic AI systems, modern AI tooling, prototypes, course labs, and internal tools. Interns will get hands-on experience building AI systems that are tested, deployed, and used in real workflows. Important: Candidates will be automatically rejected if they do not submit the required video introduction. Responsibilities
- Build demos and prototypes using modern AI tooling.
- Work on agentic AI projects, including building and testing AI agents and pipelines.
- Develop and test AI workflows and systems.
- Work on course labs and exercises and ensure they function end to end.
- Build and improve internal tooling to help the team work more efficiently.
- Collaborate with experienced AI practitioners on real-world AI engineering projects.
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrated aptitude for learning technical concepts quickly.
- Comfortable writing Python and working with code.
- Familiarity with core Generative AI concepts.
- Understanding of LLMs, prompting, RAG, agents, tool calling, or structured outputs.
- Curious, resourceful, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Currently pursuing a degree or recently graduated.
- Must submit the required video introduction.
