Responsibilities
- Perform timely and effective reconciliation of assigned General Ledger accounts.
- Ensure accurate clearing of reconciling items according to company policies.
- Post accurate General Ledger entries in SAP and customer accounts.
- Research, track, and resolve outstanding reconciling items and related issues.
- Apply advanced research techniques to identify the source of reconciling items.
- Participate in month-end close activities.
- Identify and recommend process improvements in reporting, reconciliation, and analysis.
- Communicate with internal resources and processors to escalate and resolve differences.
- Drive technology adoption and process changes to improve efficiency.
- Assist with escalated accounting cases.
Requirements
- 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting and General Ledger reconciliation.
- Ability to research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
